Did Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah deviate from the Sunnis and the Community, holding anomalous views contrary to theirs?

Ahl al-Sunnah (definition) wa al-Jama'ah are the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and those who followed them in goodness, adhering to their methodology and following their path until the Day of Judgment. They are the saved sect and the victorious group about whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke. They were named "Ahl al-Sunnah" for their adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and "al-Jama'ah" for their unity upon the truth and their not disobeying the ruler. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah is an extension of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, and no deviation from them is proven on his part; rather, he is one of their imams through whom Allah supported the Sunnah and suppressed innovation. Whoever judges him otherwise is an innovator. The methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah is the straight path and is pure Islam.
