Is Ibn Taymiyyah among the people of misguidance?

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah was a mujahid imam and a divine scholar renowned for his knowledge, religiosity, and uprightness. He resisted innovations and blind imitation, confronting philosophers, the Rafidah, the Batiniyyah, deviant Sufis, mutakallimin (scholastic theologians), and fanatical traditionalists. He wielded his sword as a mujahid against the Tatars and was an ascetic in worldly matters. His enemies and envious detractors multiplied due to his outspokenness in proclaiming the truth, and he faced numerous trials and tribulations until his death. Prominent scholars of the Ummah from various schools of thought praised him, including Al-Dhahabi, Al-Mizzi, Ibn Daqiq al-Id, Ibn Abd al-Hadi, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Sayyid al-Nas, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Al-Suyuti, and Mulla Ali al-Qari, affirming the vastness of his knowledge, his asceticism, his courage, and his leadership, while refuting accusations of anthropomorphism (tajsim) and resemblance (tashbih) against him.
