Lightening the eyebrows is permissible as long as it does not lead to deception of a suitor, or imitation of disbelievers, or adorning oneself for non- men. Lightening is not considered unlawful plucking (namṣ) and is not deemed an alteration of Allah's creation. As for trimming eyebrow hair that does not disfigure the creation significantly, it is forbidden for both women and men.
