Is the pilgrim performing Tamattu' who has completed Umrah during the months of Hajj then visited the Prophet's Mosque or Ta'if obligated to enter into ihram upon returning to Mecca?

The Mutamatti' (pilgrim performing Mut'ah Hajj) is not required to re-enter ihram (definition) if he performs 'Umrah (definition), then leaves Makkah and returns to it, whether he goes to a nearby city like Jeddah or Taif, or a distant one like Madinah. This is because, by doing so, he is considered to be returning to his temporary residence (Makkah). He should then assume ihram for Hajj on the Day of Tarwiyah from Makkah, just like a resident of Makkah who travels and then returns for Hajj.
