What is the ruling on a woman who passed through the Miqat for Umrah while she was menstruating, so she did not enter into ihram, and she remained in Makkah until she became pure, and then she entered into ihram from Makkah? And what is incumbent upon her?

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "It is not permissible for a woman who intends to perform 'Umrah (definition) to pass the miqat (definition) except with ihram (definition), even if she is menstruating. She should enter ihram, perform ghusl (definition), tie a cloth around herself, and her ihram will be valid and correct. However, when she reaches Makkah, she should not circumambulate the Kaaba until she becomes pure, nor should she perform Sa'i until she becomes pure. But if she circumambulated while pure and then her menstruation began after the circumambulation, she should continue and perform Sa'i, shorten her hair, and complete her 'Umrah; because purity is not a condition for Sa'i."
