How can one repent to Allah with a sincere and irreversible repentance after committing sins and enormities since childhood, despite loving the righteous and desiring change, but with repeated returns to disobedience after repentance?

For repentance, there are conditions that must be met: cessation of the sin, regret for having committed it, determination not to return to it, and that it must occur before witnessing the signs of death or the Hour. Whoever repents with sincerity and fulfills its conditions, Allah accepts his repentance, forgives his sin, replaces his evil deeds with good ones, and loves him. Allah the Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves," and "Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds; for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones," and "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" The love of the righteous is a blessing that aids in steadfastness, and it is advisable to associate with them and avoid the corrupt. How to repent: regret for what has passed, repenting to Allah, adhering to the path of truth, and returning rights to their owners if any exist.
