Wasn't the remembrance of Allah mentioned by the singular name by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions, despite the existence of a noble prophetic hadith confirming that the Hour will not commence upon a servant who says "Allah, Allah"?

"The remembrance of Allah by the singular name 'Allah, Allah' is among the innovated forms of dhikr introduced by the ignorant and the Sufis. It has not been reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor from his Companions. The hadith: 'The Hour will not be established until 'Allah, Allah' is no longer said on earth,' does not indicate its legitimacy, because other narrations of the hadith explain it as: 'The Hour will not be established upon anyone who says: 'There is no god but Allah.' The singular name does not convey a complete meaning, and scholars have not used this hadith as evidence for dhikr using the singular name."
