What is the recommended formula for the Eid takbirat (pronouncements of "Allahu Akbar") after the prayers on the two Eid days and the three days following Eid al-Adha, and what are the additions to it? Is it part of the Sunnah to attach them to the takbirat?

The formula for takbir (exclaiming "Allahu Akbar") on the two Eids is broad, and it is recommended to say: "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil-hamd" (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god but Allah; Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise). Absolute takbir is sunnah on the nights of both Eids. For Eid al-Fitr, it begins from sunset on the eve of Eid and ends with the Imam coming out for the prayer. For Eid al-Adha, it begins from the sighting of the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah until the last of the Days of Tashreeq. As for restricted takbir after the prayers, it is specific to Eid al-Adha, beginning from the dawn of the Day of Arafah until the 'Asr prayer of the last of the Days of Tashreeq.
