If what the Egyptian doctor said is true, then what is the black seed that the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, referred to, and what is its real name, its shape, its color, its size, and its place of cultivation?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged treatment with black seed, stating that it is a cure for every disease except death, as mentioned in several authentic narrations. Ibn Hajar clarified that black seed can be used alone or in combination, and through various methods such as eating, drinking, or as a poultice. He also stated that restricting the generality of the hadith by referring it to medical opinions and experiments is an error, because believing in one who does not speak from inclination [the Prophet] is more worthy of acceptance. Modern scientific research has shown the benefits of black seed in strengthening immunity and fighting germs and cancer. As for anything mentioned to the contrary, its basis is unknown.
