Are the hadiths, "You should use the black seed, for indeed therein is healing for every disease except death (al-saam)," and "I am the grandfather of every pious person," authentic?

The first hadith (definition) is authentic, found in the two Sahih (definition) collections and others. Its wording, narrated by Khalid ibn Sa'd, is: "Upon you is this black seed (nigella sativa). Take five or seven of them, crush them, then drop oil into his nose, a few drops on this side and a few on that side. Indeed, 'Aisha narrated to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: 'Indeed, this black seed is a cure for every disease except for al-Sam.' I asked: 'What is al-Sam?' He replied: 'Death.'" In Muslim's narration: "Indeed, in the black seed there is a cure for every disease except al-Sam. And al-Sam is death." As for the second hadith, Sheikh Al-Albani mentioned it in "Al-Silsilah al-Da'ifah" (The Chain of Weak Narrations) and said: "It has no basis."
