How is the inheritance divided if the deceased left behind a mother, a wife, two sons, a full sister, and two full brothers?

The heirs are: the wife, the mother, and two sons. The full brothers and sister are excluded by the male lineal descendant. The wife’s share is one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, and the mother’s share is one-sixth due to the presence of a lineal descendant. The remainder goes to the two sons by ta’sib (residuary inheritance). The estate is divided into 48 shares: the wife receives 6 shares, the mother receives 8 shares, and each son receives 17 shares.

Important Note: Inheritance matters are critical and complex. A mere fatwa (religious edict) is not sufficient for them. Instead, they must be brought before Sharia courts to verify all heirs, wills, debts, and other rights before distribution.
