How is the inheritance divided among a mother, a wife, a son, three daughters, a full brother, four full sisters, and a paternal uncle?

If the heirs of the deceased are limited to those mentioned, then the inheritors are: the children, the wife, and the mother. Others mentioned are excluded by the children. The inheritance is divided as follows: the wife receives one-eighth (1/8) as a prescribed share due to the presence of children, and the mother receives one-sixth (1/6) as a prescribed share due to the presence of children. The remainder goes to the children by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. It must be noted that matters of inheritance are critical and complex, and a mere fatwa (definition) is insufficient. Rather, the case must be referred to the Sharia (definition) courts for investigation and to ascertain the existence of any wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
