What is the meaning of the verse: "And do not forget your share of the world"?

For the interpretation of the noble verse, "And do not forget your share of this world," there are two well-known opinions among scholars:

The first opinion: Do not forget your share of the permissible worldly things, such as food, drink, clothing, dwellings, and marriage, while fulfilling the obligatory rights due to Allah, oneself, and family, and without that harming your religion or your Hereafter. Indeed, Allah Almighty has commanded moderation in seeking both this world and the Hereafter.

The second opinion: Do not forget your share of this world by working in it for the Hereafter. A person's share is their lifespan and their righteous deeds, meaning that you work in your worldly life with that which will save you from Allah's torment tomorrow.

There is no contradiction between the two opinions; a believer does not forget their share of this world by enjoying permissible things that aid them in obeying Allah and refresh their soul, nor do they forget their share of it through righteous deeds that accompany them in the Hereafter.
