The answer

There is no objection to using injection treatment if prescribed by a skilled physician. Scholars have explicitly stated the permissibility of treating oneself with it, and some of them, like Abu Yusuf and Imam Ahmad, actually used it. It is permissible to expose the 'awrah (private parts) for a need in this situation. Thus, treatment by injection is legitimate due to the healing it provides. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O servants of Allah, seek medical treatment, for Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, has not sent down a disease except that He has sent down a cure for it, except death and old age." It is permissible to look at the 'awrah out of necessity, such as for an injection during illness. It is narrated that Abu Yusuf exposed the site of the injection to the person receiving it due to the severe emaciation he suffered.
