What is the ruling on delivering speeches and sermons at a burial for the purpose of admonishing those accompanying the funeral procession?

Preaching and delivering sermons in cemeteries is considered a reprehensible innovation (bid'ah), because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not do so with the intention of preaching. Rather, he once sat around a grave that had not yet been completely dug and spoke with his companions the way people sit and discuss what happens after death. He did not intend to stand as a preacher to deliver a sermon. There is a difference between what occurs incidentally and what is done intentionally.
