Am I, by forbidding the circulation of Hadith and supplications (du’a) of unknown origin, prohibiting what Allah has made lawful? And what is the criterion for this?

The obsessive whisperings have reached a great extent with you and have caused you significant harm. The reason for this is the devil's dominance over you and your yielding to his whisperings and surrendering to them. The best cure for obsessive whisperings, after seeking Allah's help, is to turn away from them and not pay them any mind. You have not forbidden what Allah has made lawful, nor have you committed any act of disbelief; rather, these are mere delusions and whisperings.
