Is a girl's raising her voice at her mother and arguing with her, or looking at her with annoying glances, along with the mother's ill-treatment of her daughter, considered a forbidden act that displeases Allah? And what should the girl do about that?

Children must be dutiful and kind to their parents, even if the parents mistreat them, because the parents' right is not forfeited by their bad character or their transgression. A mother harming her daughter is a sin, but it does not permit the daughter to raise her voice at her mother or threaten her, as this is a forbidden disobedience. The daughter is not sinful for hating her mother in her heart due to the harm she inflicts, as long as she does not cause harm to her. The daughter must strive to be dutiful to her mother, treat her kindly, and endure her harm, seeking reward from Allah. It is recommended to seek good company, strive to gain deep understanding of the religion, and avoid places of temptation.
