Is it permissible for my elderly grandmother to continue reading the Qur'an from a lightweight paper mushaf that is affected and shows damage due to her hand tremors and lack of control, knowing that she refuses to use tablets?

The scholars have unanimously agreed on the obligation of revering and safeguarding the Mus'haf. Part of revering the Mus'haf is reading it and contemplating its meanings, and this necessitates holding it and turning its pages. If a slight, unintentional damage results from this, there is no sin in it, because it is an unintentional damage resulting from a permissible and commanded act. This action is not considered an insult or a trivialization of the rituals of Allah.
