Is this considered among the unseen matters (al-ghayb) whose viewing is prohibited? And what is the ruling on someone who watches them with prior knowledge of their ruling?

It is impermissible to watch cartoon films that contain corrupt beliefs and actions of sorcerers due to their danger to children. An example of this is the film "Death Note" because it contains disbelieving, polytheistic, and atheistic beliefs; it presents disbelief as a savior for the Earth. It is also forbidden to disseminate, read, or watch such films because they clash with the belief in Tawhid (monotheism) and have a negative impact on the viewer. As for the other cartoon film, there was not sufficient description available to rule on it, and one should refer to the Shariah guidelines mentioned in the fatwas on this matter.
