What is the ruling on watching TV series, movies, and anime that contain ideas conflicting with the fundamental tenets of religion, such as time travel, death note, angels and devils, magic, Greek gods, and superpowers, if the sole purpose of watching is entertainment?

It is not permissible to watch films that include infidel doctrines or deviant ideas contrary to Islamic creed, such as glorifying magic, simulating polytheism, or exalting idols, even if the viewing is merely for entertainment. Similarly, it is not permissible to portray angels, and watching such portrayals is forbidden. As for fictional scenes like time travel or superpowers, they do not prevent the permissibility of watching films, provided they do not involve an affront to the creed by claiming attributes of divinity or similar concepts.
