Which Qur’anic verse prohibits gold for men?

The prohibition of gold for men came in the noble Sunnah, and what the Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, prohibited is as if Allah Almighty prohibited it, due to His saying, Glorified and Exalted be He: "And whatever the Messenger has given you - take it; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, emphasized this by saying: "Indeed, what the Messenger of Allah has forbidden is as if Allah has forbidden it." The proof of the prohibition from the Prophetic Sunnah is what Ibn Zurayr Al-Ghafiqi narrated from Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said about silk and gold: "Indeed, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah," and what Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The wearing of silk and gold is forbidden for the males of my Ummah and permitted for their females." Scholars have unanimously agreed on the prohibition of a gold ring for men.
