The answer

The use of gold as an adornment for men is forbidden by the consensus of the Ummah, due to the prohibitions mentioned in the authentic . Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said regarding silk and gold: "Indeed, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah." And Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The wearing of silk and gold is forbidden for the males of my Ummah and permitted for their females."
