Do the secretions that are discharged after istinja' (washing after urinating or defecating), and sometimes stop after fifteen or thirty minutes, take the ruling of a continuous impurity? And must one repeat the prayer if they are discharged during it? And what about slight gases that are expelled during prayer, do they necessitate repeating ablution and prayer? And is a person considered excused if they cannot control them? And what should be done if gases or "the two foul things" are expelled during prayer, especially during short prayer times like Fajr and Maghrib? And should one relieve oneself first or perform the prayer? And is the prayer invalidated if one performs ablution and prays, then gases are expelled thereafter? And is it necessary to repeat the prayer if wind is expelled during it, knowing that these gases are always expelled during ablution and prayer, and rarely at other times of the day?

A woman who experiences irregular discharge should perform ablution (Wudu') after the time for prayer begins and then pray the obligatory prayer and any voluntary prayers she wishes. The subsequent discharge does not invalidate her ablution. She should not perform ablution before the prayer time begins. However, if she knows that the discharge will stop at a specific time, she should only pray during that time.

It is disliked to suppress urination during prayer because the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade praying while suppressing the two impurities (urine and feces), and because of the health problems associated with it.

If a person is certain that wind (gas) is expelled from them with every ablution and prayer, they are considered to have chronic incontinence (sals). They should perform ablution for each prayer, and the subsequent expulsion of wind does not invalidate their ablution, according to the consensus of the imams. One must be careful of Satanic whisperings during prayer; they should not be heeded unless the worshiper hears a sound or smells an odor.
