Is it permissible to wipe over socks if they were put on after washing each foot separately during ablution?

The first and most cautious approach is that the person performing ablution (wudu') should not wear socks until they have washed their left foot. This is because wiping over the khuffayn (leather socks) is not permissible unless they were put on after the completion of purification. If someone puts on a khuff or sock on their right foot before washing their left foot, their purification is not complete. If this occurs, they should remove the khuff or sock from their right foot before wiping, and then put it back on after washing the left foot.
