Is a wife entitled to object to her husband's frequent travels for Hajj and Umrah and feel distressed by it, knowing that he has performed the obligatory pilgrimage several times, and she cannot accompany him due to their young children?

A woman is not to be blamed or sinful for feeling distressed by her husband's absence, but she must be content with it since it is in obedience to Allah. The husband does not sin by leaving his family and traveling for a voluntary Hajj or a voluntary 'Umrah (definition), as long as his absence does not exceed six months, as it is permissible for a man to travel for his needs for that period. If his absence exceeds six months and his wife requests his return, he is obliged to do so, unless he has an excuse such as traveling to seek knowledge, or for غزْو (military expedition), or an obligatory Hajj, or to seek essential sustenance.
