What is the ruling on reciting Surat Al-Fatihah one hundred times, followed by Surat Al-Waqi'ah eleven or thirteen times, in order to prepare the servants of Surat Al-Waqi'ah for protection?

Al-Fatihah is the greatest surah in the Quran and possesses tremendous virtues and merits. As for the virtues of Al-Waqi'ah, there are narrations, some authentic and some unauthentic. However, specifying the recitation of these two surahs a certain number of times to fulfill a specific need has no known evidence. Such a specification would require revelation from the Book (Quran) or the Sunnah (Prophetic tradition); otherwise, it is an innovation (bid'ah).
