Is the ghusl valid if the head is moistened with three handfuls of water, but one is unable to moisten the right side completely, knowing that water was made to penetrate the roots of the hair before the handfuls?

A previous fatwa (definition) mentioned the description of both the complete and sufficient ghusl (definition) (ritual bath). If you make the water cover your entire head, your ghusl is sufficient, even if the right side does not receive three full handfuls of water. A single ghusl is enough, provided the water covers the head and body, and includes rinsing the mouth, sniffing water into the nose, and having the intention. Some scholars interpreted washing the head three times as making the water cover the hair and running fingers through it three times, while others interpreted it as pouring water over the right side, then the left side, then the middle of the head.
