A wise husband must overcome domestic problems, and a wife must stay in her husband's home and not leave without his permission. Patience and forgiveness are characteristics of noble people, especially with family. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family." Try with your wife's father to address her quick temper and her leaving the house, and change your approach in dealing with her. Your wife has only left twice, which indicates that her mistake is not severe. So, be patient with her mistakes and seek your reward from Allah, and remember the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." Marrying a second wife or divorcing is not a solution to your problem, especially with children involved. Rather, be patient, exercise self-control, and discuss things calmly with your wife. If matters become complicated and a solution is not possible, then a second marriage can be an option, as divorce is the last resort.
