What is the ruling on a wife concealing some matters from her husband, and what are the permissible matters that she is allowed to conceal?

Married life is based on honesty and clarity. A wife must not dispose of her husband's money or allow anyone into their home without his knowledge. However, she may conceal from him flaws that might cause his aversion and anger, or her righteous deeds such as supererogatory prayers and charities—except for voluntary fasting, which requires the husband's permission. She may also conceal sins between herself and Allah, because Allah has commanded the concealment of sins.
