What is the ruling on committing adultery when one is unable to marry and has an intense desire for it?

The questioner is advised to seek Allah's help and supplicate to Him to grant them chastity, and to be patient until Allah enriches them from His bounty, citing the verse: "And let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from unlawful sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty," and the hadith: "And whoever practices patience, Allah will grant him patience." He also referred to the hadith: "Three are rightfully supported by Allah: the fighter in the cause of Allah, the indentured servant who intends to pay off his freedom, and the one who marries seeking chastity." He mentioned that there were previous fatwas that discussed means of chastity and calming desires.
