Is there a ruling concerning sleep after Fajr?

Sleeping after Fajr prayer is permissible, and there is no text that prohibits it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sit in his prayer place after Fajr until the sun rose, and he asked his Lord for blessings for his nation in early rising. Some of the Salaf disliked sleeping after Fajr, so it is better to utilize this time for what is beneficial. There is no harm in sleeping after Fajr to gain strength for work, especially if it is not possible to sleep at another time. Sleeping after Asr is also permissible and lawful, and there is no authentic hadith that prohibits it at this time.
