The answer

Fajr prayer is not valid after its time has expired, except for someone who was overcome by sleep after taking the necessary measures to wake up. As for one who was negligent in waking up, he is sinful and must repent and change this bad habit. The evidence for this is the Almighty’s saying: "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a time-bound ordinance," and His saying: "Then succeeded them later generations who neglected prayers and pursued passions; so they are going to meet ghayy (a valley in Hell)." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, there is no negligence in sleep; negligence is only upon one who does not pray until the time for the next prayer comes."
