Is it permissible for the wife and son to eat from the father's unlawfully acquired money, taken through fraud and deception, even though the wife is not in need of it?

What the wife's father does, consuming people's wealth unlawfully, is haram (forbidden), and explicit texts have threatened severe punishment for those who do it. Among these are the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "No body nourished by unlawful gain shall enter Paradise," and his saying: "No flesh that grew from illicit gain will enter Paradise; the Fire is more befitting for it." The wealth of a Muslim is not lawful except with their willing consent, for "the entire Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his blood, his wealth, and his honor." One who consumes unlawful wealth will not have their supplications answered, as stated in the Hadith: "His food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, and he was nourished by unlawful gain, so how can his supplication be answered?" The wife should strive to invite her father to avoid what is unlawful, and if he does not respond, then she and her son should avoid eating from his wealth. And you should not tire of advising her, acting upon the words of Allah Almighty: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe."
