Is it obligatory for an adult woman who was not circumcised in childhood to be circumcised according to the Shafi'i school, along with the evidence?

It is mentioned that the ruling on circumcision according to the Shafi'i school is obligatory for both men and women. If a woman was not circumcised in her youth, it becomes obligatory for her to be circumcised in adulthood, according to them. However, the more preponderant opinion is that circumcision is a Sunnah for women, not an obligation.
