What is the Sharia ruling regarding a wife remaining with a husband who does not pray, has illicit relationships, frequently swears by divorce, and uses obscene language, while she fears for her son emulating his father and refrains from sleeping with him due to fear of diseases, and is it permissible for her to seek a divorce?

If the husband abandons prayer and is involved in illicit relationships, then his abandonment of prayer is a grave sin, and if the illicit relationships are confirmed, they are a gateway to corruption.

Based on the view of the majority of scholars, the marriage bond remains valid because they do not consider one who abandons prayer out of negligence to be an apostate. The wife should advise him gently and wisely, seeking the help of those who have influence over him.
