What is the ruling on honoring mosque workers—whether volunteers or paid—and mosque benefactors from the mosque's funds?

It is permissible to feed workers employed in the mosque from funds donated for the benefit of the mosque, provided it is within customary limits and serves the mosque's interest, and does not contradict the donor's intention. As for feeding those who donate to the mosque from mosque funds, it is permissible if custom allows for leniency in this regard and the donors do not object, without extravagance and within customary limits. However, if donors disapprove of this, their intention must be respected.
