How authentic is the Hadith: "Visit one another, but do not become neighbors"?

The hadith "Visit each other but do not live next to each other, and exchange gifts" was mentioned as a weak narration attributed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, but it has no origin in the books of the Sunnis. The Shia mentioned it in their books with a similar wording, but what they mention is not considered authoritative unless it is proven among the Sunnis. It was also attributed to Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, without any basis, and it was mentioned in some books as one of the "proverbs of the common people and the moderns." Its meaning is incorrect, because the proximity of righteous Muslims increases love and affection.
