The answer

We have previously clarified that if someone expels something from their stomach and then swallows it after it was possible to eject it, their fast is invalidated. However, if nothing of that reached the mouth in a way that it could be chewed and expelled, or if it did reach and was expelled without being swallowed, then the fast is not invalidated by that. The ruling for prayer in this regard is similar to the ruling for fasting.
