What is the ruling on injecting the cheeks to restore the shape of the face to what it was before wisdom tooth extraction, which led to facial emaciation, especially with the impending marriage and not informing the fiancé of this change?

If the extraction of teeth has a disfiguring effect on the questioner's face, and she finds no natural way to treat it, then it is permissible for her to undergo injections to restore the shape to its normal state; this is for treating a defect, not for increasing beauty. Such procedures do not fall under the forbidden alteration of Allah's creation. Dr. Salih Al-Fawzan mentioned that the ruling on wrinkle removal varies depending on the reasons for the procedure:

1. First Case: If the wrinkles are in an unusual form, such as affecting a young person, or appearing in an unconventional manner even for an elderly person; this case is permissible, because it is a disfigurement and a defect, and removing it is considered a treatment. It does not fall under the forbidden alteration of Allah's creation; rather, it is a restoration of the original creation and removes psychological and physical harm.

2. Second Case: If the wrinkles are in a form normal for old age; this case is forbidden, due to the absence of a Sharia-compliant justification for it. It is necessary to ensure that these procedures are not harmful.
