Is abortion permissible in the third month, before the ensoulment, in the event that cohabitation between the spouses is impossible?

Abortion is Islamically forbidden because it constitutes an assault on a soul, and its prohibition intensifies after the ensoulment. Abortion is not permissible except in cases of proven necessity, such as the pregnancy endangering the mother's life or the fetus's death. The anticipation or occurrence of divorce does not legitimize abortion, and proceeding with it for this reason is considered a crime.
