Is the questioner considered sinful or an infidel because of Satan's whispers regarding Allah's attribute of 'Aql (intellect/reason), despite her belief in Allah's attributes and her attempt to repel these whispers?

A person is not held accountable, according to Islamic law, for self-talk, satanic whisperings, and passing thoughts that cross the heart, as long as he does not utter them or act upon them. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my nation for what they talk to themselves about, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." If these whisperings relate to faith and the heart dislikes them, then that is clear faith. A Muslim should cut off these whisperings and not indulge in them, and should turn to Allah through supplication and remembrance for his heart to find tranquility.
