The answer

For marriage to a Christian woman, the same conditions apply as for marriage to a Muslim woman, namely, a guardian, a dowry, and witnesses. Her non-Muslim guardian can give her in marriage. If he objects to prevent a Muslim, deeming him not his equal, then guardianship transfers to another of her non-Muslim relatives. It is also a condition for marrying her that she be chaste. There is no need for her to observe the iddah (waiting period) if her apparent state indicates this; otherwise, marrying her is not permissible in the first place.
