Is it sufficient to feed a needy person as expiation for a missed Ramadan day, when the expiation is delayed until the following Ramadan, if the feeding consists of one and a half kilograms of rice, based on the estimation by some scholars of it being half a Sa' (prophetic measure)?

Whoever neglected to make up for missed days of Ramadan until the next Ramadan began, must feed the poor for each day. The sufficient amount is one mudd of food (approximately 750 grams of rice). Some scholars held the view that it is obligatory to give one mudd of wheat or half a sa' of other food (approximately 1.5 kilograms of rice). So, whoever gives 1.5 kilograms of rice, that will suffice.
