How is an inheritance divided among: a father, a mother, a husband, a paternal grandfather, a paternal grandmother, two full brothers, five full sisters, a paternal half-brother, and a paternal half-sister, knowing that zakat was due on his wealth but was not paid?

First, the obligatory zakat on the deceased must be paid. Then, the remaining inheritance is to be distributed among the heirs. The mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of siblings. The husband receives one-half due to the absence of direct descendants. The remainder goes to the father by agnation (ta'sib). The grandfather, brothers, sisters, and grandmother are excluded by the father and mother. The inheritance is divided into six shares: one share for the mother, three shares for the husband, and two shares for the father. Matters of inheritance should be referred to the Sharia courts to verify the existence of other heirs, wills, or debts.
