Must a woman make up prayers and fasts if her menstrual period starts intermittently and lasts for 10 days or more? And should she pray during the initial intermittent periods, or wait until she is completely purified?

A woman must stop fasting and praying as soon as she sees menstrual blood. When the bleeding stops and she sees one of the two signs of purity (dryness or white discharge), she must perform ghusl (definition), pray, and fast. If the blood returns before fifteen days have passed from the beginning of menstruation, she is considered to be menstruating again, while her prayers and fasts during the period of purity that interrupted the bleeding remain valid.
