What is the ruling on saying: The attributes of Allah resemble Allah?

The predecessors (Salaf) did not say that the attributes of Allah resemble Allah. The method of the verifying scholars is to seek clarification regarding such ambiguous phrases. If the intended meaning is truly correct, it is accepted; otherwise, it is rejected. The safest approach is to adhere to what the Salaf said and to abandon what they did not discuss.
