What is the ruling of Islamic law on refraining from praying in the mosque due to the misconduct of officials, their ignorance of religion, and their failure to implement Sharia, especially since there is another almost empty mosque, and instead praying at home to avoid strife?

A Muslim is not permitted to abandon congregational prayers due to the poor conduct of mosque officials; rather, attendance should be maintained. If it is possible to offer advice and point out mistakes, that is best. Otherwise, one should not abandon congregational prayer, because truth is not forsaken for the sake of falsehood. This is just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed in the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) despite the presence of idols. Muslims are urged to frequent the mosque and not abandon it.
