How can one distance oneself from daily problems with a harmful neighbor who controls her husband and the entire neighborhood, and accuses the questioner and her husband of committing forbidden acts?

Allah Almighty has forbidden harming a Muslim and violating their honor, and has attached a great sin to it. The matter becomes more severe if the harm is inflicted upon neighbors. The woman who harms her neighbors and speaks ill of people's honor should be advised. If one cannot do so, then someone trustworthy should be sought to advise her. Misconduct should be met with kindness and patience, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Repel [evil] with that which is better." The husband and those who listen to whoever harms the neighbors must be advised to stay away from the wrongdoers so that they do not become partners in sin.
