The answer

Whoever is born with this genetic disease is afflicted with a great trial, and he will have a great reward if he perseveres, seeks his reward from Allah, entrusts his affairs to Allah, and obeys Him. Awareness should be spread to deal with him kindly, care for him, and grant him his rights, clarifying that he is not at fault for this, and it is obligatory to sympathize with him and rehabilitate him. If the illness is a result of a forbidden act, then whoever repents, Allah will accept his repentance, and it is not permissible to look down upon him; rather, he should be treated appropriately and have his burden lightened.
