How is an inheritance divided among: a mother, two sons, and one daughter?

If the deceased leaves behind only a mother, two sons, and a daughter, the mother receives one-sixth (1/6) as a prescribed share due to the presence of a lineal descendant, based on the Almighty's saying: "And for his parents, each of them will have a sixth of what he leaves if he has a child." The remainder goes to the two sons and the daughter by way of residuary inheritance, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females, based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: the mother gets one share, each son gets two shares, and the daughter gets one share. It is necessary to refer the matter to the Sharia courts, as there might be other heirs, bequests, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
